There’s been a lot of talk about gold and brass all over the internet and design magazines in the last little while. This is hardly a new trend – brass made a huge come back some time ago in the world of architecture, interiors, fashion and product design, gently shoving it’s previously celebrated silvery and coppery friends aside. It turns out that the time has come for the golden sheen to enjoy it’s well deserved 5 minutes in the sun.I must admit, I was never really a big fan of gold for the longest time (I know, we all make mistakes), but my palettes these days are all about hints of this lovely shiny shade. Perhaps this is because we are collectively getting much better at using golds and mixing them with nudes, greys, charcoals and navy, to ensure they are always sophisticated, and never too blingy. So without further ado, here’s a selection of some of my favourite golden moments, broken down into various categories. Hope you like! Oh, and by the way, how INCREDIBLE is the glittering gold creation above? Confetti System for T Magazine rocks my world!x danaArchitecture. Donald Trumps NY apartment, and Rene Rivkin etc…) but I think you’ve done it justice here. Nice post.
