If you’re a creative being (which you are 100%, cause you’re hanging out with Team Yellowtrace), this video is for you! After watching yet another typographic video of Ira Glass’ talk by artist David Shiyang Liu, photographer Daniel Sax was inspired to create his own filmed version. “The Gap” offers super inspiring advice to creative people struggling with a gap between their tastes and their abilities – and nails it!

This video features a series of typographic visualisations based on Glass’ interview about overcoming self-doubt, using his own language to tell his message. “I made it for myself and for anybody who is in doubt with his/her creative career. I also think that Ira Glass’ message isn’t only limited to the creative industry. It can be applied to everyone who starts out in a new environment and is willing to improve,” explains Sax.
