Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty, the duo behind the architectural firm Studio KO, are rarely in one place for very long. Their offices are in Paris, Marrakech and London, and projects in destinations as far-flung as Gabon, Morocco, Los Angeles and Corsica. Today’s interior is closer to their original home – Gay Paris.Designed for a well traveled Parisian businessman, the apartment’s concrete shell is layered with a dark and sultry palette, bringing masculinity, rich colours, plushness and multilayered luxury to this sublime interior. Studio KO’s signature approach of weaving contemporary minimalism with richness and textures creates a highly desirable effect. Grrr, baby. Furniture is a combination of flea market finds and custom creations, bringing a sense of well rounded character and personality to the space. That would be 10 points from me!
