In Novi Sad, Serbia, a 32-square-metre retail space has been transformed into an artisanal home for natural beauty. Sofi Cosmetics’ latest boutique, designed by Studio Autori, embraces the subtle imperfections and tactile qualities of handcrafted elements, creating an environment that celebrates the work of the hands while elevating modest materials.

The store’s narrative unfolds around a striking central feature—volumes made from sky-blue fire-clay bricks that command attention while inviting interaction. This centrepiece initiates a sensory journey through texture and touch, complemented by custom linear lighting that anchors the overall composition.

A minimalist utilitarian aluminium shelving system wraps the perimeter, guiding visitors through Sofi’s collection of natural products and signature scents. The designers have achieved a delicate balance between industrial and organic elements—brushed steel fixtures provide sharp contrast against textured walls and floors, while highlighting the brand’s commitment to clean, minimalist beauty routines.
