The interior places a strong emphasis on openness and connection. The transparent baking process invites curiosity and conversation, creating an experience that goes beyond just enjoying good food. The clever layout transitions seamlessly from daytime productivity to evening relaxation, with adaptive lighting that enhances each setting. Whether you’re a student working solo or part of an artistic group taking a lunch break, there’s a perfect spot waiting for you.

True to ETHR’s identity, the indoor-outdoor connection remains central to the design. Locally sourced greenery brings tranquillity and nature indoors, while elements of Sharjah’s art scene are woven throughout. Masters in Assemblage: Koncrete Multi-concept Space by Shell+Core.

Raw and luxurious, Koncrete is a multi-concept space designed by shell+core. Self-described as a coffee house, concept store & collective hub, the multi-hyphenate venue stands out as a hidden gem and the first of its kind for Dubai.

The façade serves as the space’s anchor, showcasing understated geometric forms that define different areas. Dynamic floor elevations and integrated details create a sense of fluidity and visual continuity that’s immediately apparent from the outside.

The material palette is striking—a study in contrasts that juxtaposes raw, natural materials like warm timbers and soft tones against cooler industrial finishes of concrete and steel. Touches of green marble form a cohesive dialogue of layers that elevate the overall design.

Sustainability remains at ETHR’s core, with recycled materials, locally sourced pieces, and repurposed furniture reducing environmental impact while enhancing the aesthetic.
