Well this is just a little bit insane… and very beautiful I might add. Shane McAdams a Brooklyn based artists who creates abstract paintings using ink extracted from ball-point pens. I love the softness of colour and tones mixed with extreme levels of precision and detail. Shane pushes the boundaries of ballpoint pen through his non-traditional approach – once the ink is extracted from the pen, he heats the liquid and mixes it with solvents. He then applies it to the surface allowing gravity, wind, and other physical forces to direct the movement of the ink.

Wow!
