Melbourne-based interior designer Sally Caroline has formally delved into the world of furniture design with the Lunetta Stool. The first piece in her forthcoming SC collection, the chair is a spirited expression of the studio’s global approach to design and an exciting introduction of what’s still to come.Founder and Director of the studio Sally Knibbs cut her teeth in the design world, living, working and studying in Milan, Hamburg, London and Copenhagen—an experience that helped her develop a considered worldview that underpins her studio’s empathic approach to people and places today.With the Lunetta Stool, the eponymously named studio marks a new chapter. With other furniture and décor designs already in production, including a distinctive rug series, the SC Collection draws inspiration from Sally Caroline’s elegant interiors and ongoing adventures, leveraged by the studio’s extensive portfolio of project-specific furniture concepts.“Designing bespoke pieces for our clients over the last decade has primed us to explore furniture pieces through our own creative lens.
