Invisible Sculpture Armchair & Invisible Sculpture Side Table always look different, as they easily change with their surroundings. The In-line console is the result of our Rooms’ approach to work with pure forms, expressed and highlighted in straight lines. The joyful Sculpture Side Table plays with different materials and shapes. Young designers Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia of Rooms are based in Tbilisi, Georgia. The clever duo, who were in 2009 joined by Baia Davitaia as their company partner, have had significant success on the international design circuit, becoming the first Georgian product designers with work presented at various galleries and shops around the world. Locally, the duo are busy with interior projects that span hotels, restaurants, shops and homes.Interesting mix of Asian and European cultures and influences is evident in their unique aesthetic, which has been evolving over the years. In April, Rooms launched their most mature collection to date at Spazio Rossana Orlandi, with an aesthetic that gently dips into the current Memphis resurgence.Aptly named “Invisible to the Eye” the collection of mirrored pieces is designed to look constant and strong like a sculpture, at the same time carrying lightness, mystique and unpredictable appearance, behaving like a chameleon and blurring into the space. You can count me as a massive fan.
