From lighting designs to tableware and furniture, the skilled designers and craftsmen take the centuries-old craft and transform it into covetable contemporary designs in their Melbourne atelier and showroom. The Metro is a reflection of Bonasera’s love of Paris. “I’m a Francophile,” he says. “I love Paris and it was one of my first international trips when I was 21. I adore the work of Hector Guimard, who designed a lot of the entrances to the Paris metros. Although our Metro series doesn’t reference Art Nouveau, it does reference the Paris Metro.” The Metro series features porcelain-tiled columns in three size variations.Burley and Slender are available as occasional tables called ‘Metro Side’.
