Sydney-based studio Page Thirty Three explore the geometry of sculpture and the act of daily ritual with their latest collection ‘Tactile Equations’, in which utilitarian objects become modern day monoliths. Each piece has a sculptural aesthetic, which seeks to evolve the cultural hierarchy from utilitarian object to artwork, in order to give more meaning and importance to the act of daily ritual. Just as ancient cultures realised the importance of enhancing the human and earth bond, ‘Tactile Equations’ seek’s to bring these values to our modern world.Formed in 2010 by Ryan Hanrahan and Bianca Riggio, Page Thirty Three creates functional artworks for the home and studio.
