One Thousand Posts and Stuff…

Dearest readers,

This post is part self-indulgent, part a little thank-you for hanging out with us for One Million Thousand posts. Hooray! I seriously cannot believe I’ve hit the “publish button” 1000 times in the last three and a half years. Not bad for someone who was really reluctant to start a blog in the first place…

So much has happened since the beginning of Yellowtrace, both personally and work-wise. The last three or so years have been the scariest and by far the awesomest in my life. And things are about to get even more exciting. We just signed the lease and are moving the HQ into our first grown-up office space. Uh-huh. No more hanging out in the home office in uggs and trackies. Small part ‘bummer’ (I’ll miss my trackies), massive part ‘hooray’! We will also be making our first hire by the end of the year (editorial assistant – come on down), with more to follow next year (hello freelance interior designers and documenters, we are looking at you). As I type this, I can barely feel my legs. You guys, I believe this might be another Leap of Faith. I am ridiculously excited, but don’t be fooled – I am also freaking out just a little. Waaaaahhh!

As always, thank you for your readership, your support and your encouragement. Also, a huge shout out to our amazingly talented contributors – you guys rock. And here’s to another 1000 posts together and then some…
