Paris born, Geneva based object designer Clément Brazille has designed a set of lounge room table staples in travertine stone. Created for South Italian stone construction specialists Ateliers Romeo, the collection includes handmade side tables in various sizes, coffee tables, consoles, and a desk.

Brazille’s portfolio includes ornaments, seating, and crockery in stoneware and porcelain – but for Ateliers Romeo, he has worked with the company’s Ocean Blu travertine stone. It’s an oyster-white limestone, flecked and striped with greyish blue. Legs of the furniture are shaped as thin lightweight tubes, which creates a little playful deception: stone that’s typically weighty is lighter, easier, but still sturdy and strong.

The collection is a follow up from Ateliers Romeo’s early foray into furniture with Italian designer and Urquiola protégé, Federica Capitani.
