Mosaert’s Capsule n°2 Collection. The Belgian singer-songwriter, Paul van Haver, better known by his stage name Stromae, has established himself in both hip-hop and electronic music genres. His African roots have an impact on the instruments and dance, his personal style and now his limited-edition fashion line “Moseart” (an anagram of his stage name). “Mosaert” was launched together with other creative people, including stylist Coralie Barbier and Boldatwork. The collection features bright colours and geometric patterns, and has been described as “hipster” and “retro kitsch”.The first collection (shown below) was a huge success, with stocks almost sold out after three days. The newest collection, Capsule No. 2, was released at Colette in Paris on December 3rd 2014, and features the square root design on each item in different colours. The capsule consists of cardigans, jumpers, polos and socks with African prints, like the garments that Stromae likes to wear on stage. I can personally take or leave the clothes, but this art direction and styling literally makes me squeal with excitement. Hooray! Mosaert’s Capsule n°1 Collection.
