Moooi is a well known Dutch furniture company, who’s latest venture, Moooi Carpets utilises advanced print-on-demand technology that allows people to design their own rug. Alternatively, one can choose a design from their Signature Collection by the likes of Studio Job, Neri&Hu and Marcel Wanders.The company’s printing plant can produce everything from small rugs to full-width fitted carpets. The giant 328-metre-long printing machine is located in Germany, and has a range of 648 colours to choose from. Its high-end specs allow the ink to go very deep into the pile of the carpet, generating a detailed definition.Launched this year during Milan Design Week, the Moooi Carpet collection is rich and refined, boasting an extensive range of unique and iconic designs. Moooi Carpets will also produce a series of templates, where customers can choose from different colours, patterns and sizes, as well as having their own photos printed on a rug.The Moooi Carpets collection is available exclusively from Space Furniture.
