Some people have way too much time. But then again, you could say that about bloggers too, right?! But seriously – did you know that there is a whole bunch of people out there who are into miniature modernism? True story.
I found this fascinating article via the The New York Times and I couldn’t resist sharing. You can read the whole story here, and see more pictures via their slideshow. And if you feel like some more {*Please, sir, I want some more*} then you can check out Modern Miniatures group on Flickr, Miniatures by Annina and Call of the Small blogs. Fascinating stuff.
Have a happy weekend everyone.

Just made a very cool discovery – Don’t know if you noticed but there was a link to an amazing designers work at the bottom of the NYT article you posted above. Her name is Annina Gunter, she’s a Graphic Designer who creates miniature room scenes in her doll houses & composes dramatically lit photograph of them – the work is very artistic. Each of the rooms have an amazing lived in / life like, slightly gritty feel. The details are amazing – If you haven’t already you need to take a look http://anninagunter.blogspot.com/
Cheers! X
Thanks Grace. Yes I agree -it’s absolutely amazing detailing and photography. That’s some major commitment. Check out the Flickr group and Call of the Small blog I linked in the post. So fascinating.
