One of the most upmarket parts of Milan and home of world famous luxury brands, San Babila is a joy to explore – think Via Della Spiga, arguably Milan’s most beautiful street, amongst many others. Around the area, MUSEO BAGATTI VALSECCHI hosted Untold, a stunning exhibition curated by Rossana Orlandi, which brought together 16 contemporary artists and designers in a spectacular palazzo setting for the second year running.

In and around Porta Venezia, Spotti Milano celebrated the launch of the new collection of textiles designed by Raf Simons for Kvadrat in an installation created by Studiopepe. Meanwhile, Hermés put on quite a show at the spectacular Palazzo Serbelloni, a neoclassical masterpiece constructed for the aristocrat Gabrio Serbelloni in early 1700s.

5 VIE (meaning “5 STREETS” – primarily c.so Magenta, via Santa Marta, via San Maurilio and via Gian Giacomo Mora), launched as a brand new design district at this year’s Fuorisalone 2014. With a focus on art and culture – towards design and innovation, 5 VIE also aims to promote cultural wealth, tradition and the value of Milanese craft.
