On Tuesday 10th February, Australia’s leading furniture supplier Living Edge welcomed high profile international and domestic guests into it’s new state-of the-art showroom at The Woolstores, Alexandria, designed in collaboration with Woods Bagot. The spectacular 1,900m2 showroom features products from Herman Miller, Walter Knoll, e15, La Chance, BassamFellows, Muuto, Established & Sons and Stellar Works and lighting from Lasvit, Louis Poulsen, Rich Brilliant Willing and Buster + Punch, with some pieces seen for the first time on Australian shores.

Living Edge is the largest, and exclusive Australian supplier of most of its stable of luxury brands. To celebrate this relationship, guests in attendance included high profile representatives from Living Edge’s pedigree of brands including Brian Walker CEO of Herman Miller (USA), Markus Benz CEO of Walter Knoll (Germany), Philipp Mainzer Founder of E15 (Germany) and Jean Baptiste Souletie Founder of La Chance (France). The lavish event celebrated the unveiling of Living Edge’s new showroom and the brand’s extension to further service the needs of work environments, hospitality venues, educational facilities and the home.

Living Edge director Aiden Mawhinney said: “Traditionally we have focused on servicing the architectural and design community but we are discovering an increasing desire for high-end products within other Australian spaces from banks to home offices, and we’re excited to innovate these markets.”  The new showroom demonstrates Living Edge’s traditional focus on high quality and authentic design with premium furniture sourced from established and emerging design houses across the globe. Whilst the addition of a customer friendly shop-front connects the brand with its newfound consumers – lovers of good, international design.
