Omelette-ed is a young Valencia-based home & accessories manufacturer. Established in 2010 by Spanish designers Ommar Uribe, Pedro Rivera and Raúl Durá of La Mamba design studio, who claim to offer a new vision of design. The brand offers a variety of products ranging from furniture to lighting and accessories, under the principles of simplicity and honesty. The suspension lamp “Reeno” side tables “Bison” and a new member of “Mirrors Collection” mirror “Mirror Hang” are part of the 2014/15 collection designed by La Mamba Studio for Omelette-ed, which showcased during this year’s Design Trade in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Spanish design team was founded in 2008, serving companies in the furniture sector and developing projects in lighting, product design, branding, art direction and business consultancy. Known for their imaginative spirit, they always aim to create eye-catching objects that are useful in everyday life. Inspired by the lines and smooth shapes of Scandinavian design, La Mamba pride itself on its attention to detail, using local production and the use of natural materials. “Our work focuses basically on human experience behaviour, concretely on the understanding of the recent ways of interacting between people and objects to create new forms and proposals in the world of furniture.” We are particularly fond of their mirror range – super duper beautiful!

Omlette-ed is available in Australia via Mobilia and Melbourne Design Market.
