Today Yellowtracers, we introduce you to Katharina Trudzinski, a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist who is an absolute master of colour and composition. In her paintings, collages and 3D installations, Trudzinski creates art that is entirely immersive – from paintings spilling onto the floor to rooms full of sculpturally shaped paper.Despite mostly using found items, Trudzinski’s work maintains a minimal slickness that has us drawing parallels with the aesthetic of furniture designers, Muller Van Severen. Her installations are the stand out for us, and have us yearning to experience them in person. Moving around and viewing them at different angles would be such a delight – they could be 100 different artworks depending on what position they are viewed from. Wildly colourful, playfully composed and executed with expert precision and technique, we’re seriously impressed by Trudzinski’s fresh aesthetic.
