Extraordinary cutlery and tableware created by more then 35 international artists over 4 years have been brought together in a unique online concept store Jouw…, which launched earlier this month.

Curated by Steinbeisser, these exclusive pieces celebrate experimentation, driven by a search for new ways to enjoy food, without following the norm of conventional “usability”. Instead, they challenge and reconsider preconceptions about the relationship between tableware and the user. The pieces can be loved for their thought-provoking function, but also for their unique beauty.

In 2012, Steinbeisser launched the “Experimental Gastronomy” initiative, bringing together renowned chefs and international artists to realise one-of-a-kind creative, gastronomic get-togethers. For these events, artists have created unique, bespoke and experimental cutlery and tableware, which are now made available for the first time through the online store.
