It seemed that I had finally found my calling! I spent all my time in the darkroom and fell in love with photography.+ What are you seeking to portray in your work?I always want to create a mood and atmosphere, I tend to look for a sense of calmness and serenity. I am a sucker for lovely graphic compositions and just beautiful light.+ Who or what are some of your influences?I am heavily influenced by design whether it is an interior space or an amazing piece of furniture or an object, I am very happy if I get to shoot something beautiful and considered. I have always had a passion for portraiture and love the work of Arnold Newman – I think he was my first photographic inspiration.+ What has been your career highlight?I feel incredibly lucky to be able to take pictures for a living, and this in turn creates quite a few highlights throughout the years. I suppose I would say that when I get to travel to interesting places with my camera. On one job that I was shooting in Rio in Brazil – somehow I ended up becoming part of a samba school and taking part in the biggest carnival in the world… that was fun : )+ Three things every photographer needs…Passion. A hard work ethic. A lust for showing the world how you see things. Can you shed any light on these? Are they real interiors or staged?
