Located in the golden triangle of Monaco, 26 Carré Or opens as one of the most prestigious residential high-rises in the world. The building is surrounded by legendary landmarks, steps away from the famous Casino square, Hôtel de Paris, the One Monte Carlo shopping centre and Hotel Hermitage. All white, mirrored, detailed in brass and illuminated in the evening, the high-rise presides over the area with elegance.

The building, developed by the Groupe Segond Immobilier, designed by architects Cabinet A. Giraldi, spans 19 floors, including a four-floor penthouse, a rooftop pool, and a spa. The interiors were designed by Humbert & Poyet. The endless views, with rare 360-degree perspectives over Monaco, guided the two interior designers’ work well before its layout or decoration. Each apartment was designed to honour the views of the city’s greatest landmarks, the sea, and the surrounding mountains.

Humbert & Poyet’s signature use of noble materials, detail, and references to the Art Deco period define the space. The result is defiantly bold and luxurious. Each door is a statement – ornate, with brass panelling and bronze handles. The flooring is patterned in black and white marbles. Decadent staircases decorate the many duplexes, featuring ironwork guardrails. Exceptional shapes, lines and materials decorate the spaces from floor to ceiling.

The impressive vertical height of the entry is decorated by a composition of patterns and textures. Precious wood and gold lacquer in diamond shapes echo the geometric marble flooring. Custom designed crystal chandeliers hang in the staircases.

The spa is an expression and work of symmetry, featuring a statement row of black marble columns with notched white marble panels and large wall lights that frame the pool.

The apartments are adorned shades of beige, grey and ivory all neutral tones setting an elegant tone. Marble is dominant, sourced from the best Italian quarries. Woodwork with details, brass and bronze finishing, mirrors, and geometric patterns create beautiful entryways. Every detail is thought of, with intricate mouldings and wall panels in each space.

Everything is made by exceptional artisans, French and Italian, whose work and traditional expertise push the boundaries of craftsmanship, an endeavour held by Humbert & Poyet.
Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet designed interiors that highlight the impressive size and views of the living quarters in this luxury residence. A unique experience was created through the level of detail and use of noble materials, seamless and discreet.
