Shot by Flemish photographer Frederik Vercruysse, this minimalist temple of modernism was built in 1957. Located approximately 45km out of Paris, the house was designed by Andre Wogenscky, a renowned architect who worked with Le Corbusier for 20 years. Although built nearly 60 years ago, many of the design features of this house, including the overall aesthetic, are still relevant today – a true testament to the longevity of good architecture and design.House Saint-Forget was designed in accordance with Corbusier’s golden ratio and human scale, known as Modulor. The interior features custom-made furniture, dramatic black and white staircase that connects living & dining with bedrooms, and original suspended corner fireplace made of steel – something every pimpin’ home should have. It’s interesting to note that Frederik Vercruysse has photographed the house for Solunite – French decorative floor-covering company who occupy this house as their showroom. You can see more colour images on their website, including an Elle Decor feature here. Extreme hotness. Related Posts: Video // 5 Revolutionary Principles of Modern Architecture by Le Corbusier.
