The display finds inspiration in the concept of Nature, which Hermès themed in 2016 as ‘Nature at Full Gallop’.The design duo reinterpreted a set of animal drawings by wildlife artist Robert Dallet, a long-standing collaborator of the Hermès brand. The precise details of Dallet’s animals were translated with few distinct lines, creating a playful and iconic display featuring “Big Animal Faces”.Panthera, lion, flamingo and parrot are some of the exotic animals that GamFratesi have selected from Dallet’s illustrations. A composition of metal wires sitting at different depths creates an optical effect between the large faces and the perspective of the window. Inside these faces, Apple Watch Hermès were positioned. Different images on the Apple Watch screens create a dynamic effect, and, together with the leather strap, became the only signs of colour within the window.Apple Watch Hermès is the culmination of a partnership between two brands – Hermès and Apple. The watch features leather straps handmade by Hermès artisans in France and a Hermès watch face reinterpreted by Apple designers in California. Related Post: At Home with GamFratesi in Copenhagen.
