This is your last chance to enter the contest that celebrates noteworthy kitchen designs from around Australia—so you better get cracking!As a brand renowned for its craftsmanship, heritage and avant-garde design, the Gaggenau Kitchen of the Year will acknowledge kitchens that speak to the pursuit of excellence. The awards is on the lookout for projects that show the kitchen as the heart of the home, bringing materiality, function and technology to the fore across two entry categories—Luxury Home and Multi-Residential projects—completed after the 1st of May, 2021.Open to professional kitchen designers, architects, interior designers, builders and developers from Australia, the Gaggenau Kitchen of the Year seeks those raising the bar and taking their kitchen design to the next level.Christopher Boots on the Synergies Between Food and Lighting in Collaboration with Gaggenau.Boots investigated the tangible concept between the quality of light and its potential to directly impact our perception of food, and how the two go hand-in-hand. All entries will be judged by a panel of experts from icons Sue Carr and Hendrik Müller, innovators Rob Mills and Edwina Withers and trailblazers Adelene Teh and and Raj Nandan, this is your chance to have your designs assessed by the industry’s best.The grand prize for the Best of the Best is an exclusive trip for two to Europe, including return airfares, 5-star accommodation and all transfers.
