This home in Wroclaw, Poland is full of treasures. Designed by Diana Żurek and Gutek Girek of Furora Studio, the composition is layered with modernist lines, shades of art deco and playful influences inspired by Las Vegas. The project came to Diana through old friends, Wojtek and Artur, who shared a similar sense of aesthetics honed from a lifetime of collecting and a casual flair for the avant-garde. This came through in the design that cohesively blends a series of eclectic objects and forms. As Wojtek describes: “For me it’s a true oasis, a source full of juicy greenery. Searching for the right words, I think I would describe the interior as a luxurious American hotel from the 70s, hiding an art house element with a touch of the tropics.”Soft and angular forms overlap each other within the space, organising an interior full of blues and greens. Colours flip on all planes, bouncing off decorative glasses and reflected in art choices. In the bathroom, the studio collaborated with friend and artist Bożena Grocholska on an interpretation of Kandinsky.A Modernist-Meets-Modern Home in Warsaw by Paradowski Studio. This apartment is a home of old and new, of metals and mattes, of black and white and colour existing on the same spectrum... The fresh layout, opening the building on two sides, invites nature inside. Glass entrance doors frame the garden and new windows draw inspiration from a greenhouse filled with tropical plants.
