Today we bring you something a little different, courtesy of Febrero Studio—just in time for a bit of summer holiday dreaming. The Madrid-based studio has completed an interior refurbishment and branding study of a 35-metre-long Italian Mangusta 108 yacht.Founded in 2016 by Mercedes González Ballesteros and Jesús Díaz Osuna, Febrero Studio is a multidisciplinary practice working across the spheres of architecture, interior design and applied branding. The studio focuses on creating warm and personal spaces that are, above all, functional. Although this may be the studio’s first yacht interior, they have worked on a wide variety of projects, from offices and hotels to restaurants, homes and private clinics, that have more than prepared them for the challenge.MS7 Apartment in Madrid by Febrero Studio. The studio has completed a full refurbishment of this 250 square-metre apartment on the fourth floor of a heritage-listed building... The layout of the living area has been rearranged around entertaining and relaxation, complete with both indoor and outdoor dining, 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen, a new bar and a jacuzzi. If you’ve been on a yacht (lucky you), or like us, have watched a lot of Below Deck, you will appreciate the decidedly tasteful and pared-back interior styling. Febrero chose a ton sur ton palette of caramel in noble materials, including tinted oak timber, natural teak, natural limestone, carpet and vinyl wall coverings. Complemented with natural linen textiles and toffee-toned onyx in the bathroom, the softer materiality offers a warm, calm and all around homey ambience. It has all the comforts of a boutique hotel, except you’re on the Mediterranean Sea.Pied-à-Mer Yacht Interior by Michael K.
