Since then, the duo has created an extensive range of products, building a collection of over seventy designs with a stellar cohort of Australian Designers including Stefan Lie, Trent Jansen, Tommy Cehak, Tom Fereday, Seaton Mckeon, Jon Goulder and Daniel Tucker. To launch into the next decade, DesignByThem created a special little collection of 1:10 scale miniatures. Photographed and styled by Pete Daly the team describe the exhibition as “Bauhaus meets fun… You know, Bauhaus but if the weather was better.” Brilliant!“We spend a lot of time designing every element to ensure quality and longevity because it’s the little things that count”, they conclude.Founders of DesignByThem, Sarah Gibson and Nick Karlovasitis, aka GibsonKarlo, met during their studies in Industrial Design at the University of Technology Sydney.
