The Casa Vogue Brazil Experience.

Everyone celebrates birthdays differently. Some disco all night, others do nothing at all. If you’re Casa Vogue Brazil and you’re turning 40, you trump everyone who ever celebrated a birthday anywhere, and throw a five-day party with over 3,000 people, all in the name of good design and good times.

Recently staged by the magazine, ‘Casa Vogue Brazil Experience’ was a temporary event space in São Paulo, Brazil – an incredible residential space designed and decorated by the Casa Vogue team. Open for just five days, the space played host to a series of exclusive events including indulgent lunches with famed Brazilian chefs, and design talks from the likes of Humberto Campana and Paulo Mendes da Rocha.

Successfully melding the worlds of design, décor and sophisticated cultural experience, the space was designed in collaboration with Brazilian architects Rodrigo Martins and Gabriel Valdivieso, and included more than 360 pieces of designer furniture, decorative objects and contemporary art. The result is a tangible (and tightly curated) expression of everything that makes the comfortable luxury associated with Brazilian design so appealing – strong colours, graphic prints, organic lines, bold framing, a happy brightness and layered textures.
