Australia Through the Lens of German Photographer Daniel Müller.

German photographer Daniel Müller relocated to Sydney for the better part of a year, capturing aspects of the Australian landscape with Strange Bloke. Rather than only showing the majestic Australian landscape in full perspective, Müller focused more on texture, detail and pattern, showing the diversity of the continent from an intimate perspective.

Having captured countries around the world, German photographer Daniel Müller says it’s Australia’s ‘endlessness’ that stands out the most, with the sheer scale of the continent difficult to grasp. He illustrates the diversity of Australia’s many environs in ‘Strange Bloke’, from domestic beach scenes to rough oceans, red desert rocks and rusting country stations.
