“Art in Sausage” (Kunst in Wurst in German) is a personal project by photographer Karsten Wegener, in collaboration with designer Silke Baltruschat and food stylist Raik Holst. The clever trio teamed up to recreate iconic works of art using food from the deli – think cured meats, smoked salami and the all important hero of it all – the humble sausage. You might recognise the work of artist heavyweights like Jeff Koons, Van Gogh, Edvard Munch, Damien Hurst, Picasso etc. Genius, ridiculous, hilarious and delicious all at once.By the way, if you’re a bit of a sausage lover (who am I to judge), you might like to revisit this post.
