To paint the picture, the brand tapped its frequent collaborator and interior stylist Joseph Gardner to weave a nurturing story full of mindful moments within this beautiful Woollahra home designed by Sydney-based interior design studio Handelsmann + Khaw. Captured by photographer Anson Smart alongside a short film by Jack Birtles, the collection is a canvas for tender practices, making an occasion out of the quiet.Petra is the most voluminous in Armadillo’s collection to date, a thick, lush, hand-knotted pile made from New Zealand wool. Flanked by plaited tassels, the rug is an indulgent texture that imbues a visual and physical softness into the every day to promote the art of slowing down.A subdued take on the 70’s inspired shag style, the collection is available in five muted tones that reference the elements—Storm, Arctic, Cloud, Blanc and Sparrow.
