The idea behind the programme is to merge Le Corbusier heritage with the vision of a chosen Designer, by sharing the keys of the interior kept in its historical authenticity.For its 6th edition, l’appartement N°50 welcomes Alessandro Mendini. The italian maestro succeeds the likes of Jasper Morrison, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Pierre Charpin and l’ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’art de Lausanne). Mendini has interpreted the space of this unique apartment with a great sensitivity and poetry. His work will interact with the original pieces by Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier, as a sign of colourful and friendly tribute.The apartment is open to the public from July 15th till August 13th.
