Show me a woman and I will show you a George Clooney fan. Ok, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, although nobody can deny Clooney’s global appeal. The man is the ultimate silver fox. That aside, the sheer brilliance of Yayoi Kusama is enough to make me squeal with excitement. To top the whole thing off, just put Georgey-baby in an incredible Giorgio Armani suite, let Kusama go sick on him with her dots, bring in Emma Summerton to photograph the whole thing, and you’ve got yourself one epic cover shoot for W Magazine Dec 2013/ Jan 2014 issue.Even though Kusama knew very little about Clooney, she decided to cover him in her signature dots. “My idea is to send the message of ‘love forever’ to all the people in the world through the polka dots, which are all about the universe and human beings and living things. Your sex, being famous, being a star has nothing to do with it.”This is just marvellous on so many levels! Do you love it too?Related Post: Polaroid Portrait Mosaic of George Clooney by Maurizio Galimberti.
