Others make me cry… Today’s post makes me feel a whole bunch of things at once… I laugh, I cry, and feel inspired with the power of the human spirit. I also feel profoundly grateful and humbled. Why? Because this is one incredibly powerful project and such a simple concept – making cancer patients forget about their illness, if only for a second…On June 17th this year, Mimi Foundation, in collaboration with Leo Burnett France, invited 20 cancer patients to participate in a unique makeover experience. The day was transformed into a 60 pages book titled “If only for a second”, with the help of photographer Vincent Dixon. Every photo is followed by a caption, the date and the time it was taken, and most importantly, the exact second when each of the 20 people forgot about their disease.I urge you to watch the emotional film which shows the whole adventure. If you’re anything like me, then perhaps you might like to grab a tissue. Wonderful uplifting project that spreads smiles and happiness. I feel deeply moved.Related Post: The Tutu Project by Bob Carey.
