With September edition of MAISON&OBJET is behind us, and so many delicious submissions in my inbox, I couldn’t help but bring you a little roundup of some of the highlights from this major French trade fair held biannually in Paris.See all the posts from our comprehensive report from MAISON&OBJET and Paris Design Week 2012. ‘Drawing Glass’ collection by Fabrica, on show at Christian Lacroix Boutique in Paris. All photos by Marco Zanin © Fabrica.Kicking off with a persona favourite – a stunning glass collection developed without the aid of today’s digital tools. Taking Fabrica designers’ hand drawings, artisan glass blower Massimo Lunardon, interpreted the sketches and brought them to life without following any specific dimensions. This is a limited edition collection of 14 works by designers such as Sam Baron and Studio Formafantasma, and Fabrica designers Dean Brown, Charlotte Juillard, Giorgia Zanellato, Ryu Yamamoto and Valetina Carretta.‘Ooga-Booga’ hanger by Bertjan Pot for Moustache. Ooga-booga (natural), Frak – frak (white) & Pierre (black).Chantilly Lamps by Constance Guisset for Moustache.‘JBF 01 optical blue’ wall lamp by Jean-Baptiste Fastrez for Moustache. The collection consists of a 3-seater sofa, a loveseat (2-seater sofa), a chair and an ottoman.‘Cover chair’ by Thomas Bentzen for Muuto. The chair is available in three variations: upholstered in Kvadrat textiles, leather, or in solid wood.‘Shaggy’ desk accessory by Chia-Yun Lee from ECAL / University of Arts and Design for Christofle, under the supervision of Swiss designer Thilo Alex Brunner.‘Heavystock’ shelving system by Knauf and Brown. On show at Colette during Paris Design Week 2013, the project was conceived as homage to Danish design. To accompany the footwear series, Fritz Hansen‘s PK80 day beds and PK91 folding stools by Poul Kjærholm’s were also upholstered in matching Kvadrat fabrics.Etoile tableware by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Petite Friture.Alba Vases by Massimiliano Adami for Serralunga.
