Over a two year period, Strange worked with a film crew and volunteers in Ohio, Detroit, Alabama, New Jersey, New York and New Hampshire to create, photograph and film eight site specific interventions incorporating suburban homes. The recording of these interventions through film and photography forms the basis of a solo exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, including a short-film due to be released in late 2013.Ian Strange: SUBURBAN 27 July – 15 September 2013 The Ian Potter Centre NGV Australia at Fed Square, Melbourne.[Video courtesy of Ian Strange.] Share the love:FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailPinterest One Response The NGV exhibits Ian Strange’s Suburban | skullsproject August 26, 2013 […] https://www.yellowtrace.com.au/2013/07/23/suburban-installation-by-ian-strange/ […] ReplyLeave a Reply Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Δ
