Idaho-based Eli Craven splices and joins vintage photographs of famous couples, creating bizarre and hilarious collages. His Screen Lovers series depicts fictional and iconic movie couples manipulated into genius masterpieces, sometimes with a touch of pornography.Craven is an American artist, whose work investigates the role of images in the process of socialisation through photography, found imagery, collage and sculpture. He is also interested in creating images and objects that suggest something tangible beyond the photograph itself. There is a lovely sense of melancholy and (sick) humour that really appeals to me. I hope you feel the same way too.See more funny collages on Yellowtrace – Postcard Faces, Battle of the Sausage, Fruit & Vegetable Series and Olympic Collages. Thank you. Reply Team Yellowtrace March 12, 2015 Hi Anne, many thanks for letting us know, unfortunately we weren’t aware of additional credits until know – this has now been updated.
