With a slogan “You Drink Coffee, I Drink Tea My Dear”, P & T concept store is a brand new retail space in Berlin dedicated to those mad about the aromatic leaves and stationery. This stunning interior is a collaborative effort between the owner Jens de Gruyter and product designer Fabian von Ferrari.World’s finest teas are presented in trays on a large central table and ordered by the grade of oxidation. There are two tea dégustation stations to help you chose your favourite flavour. Beautiful and rare cups and teapots decorate the walls, while the salon and the kitchen at the back act as a space dedicated to tea seminars and other events. It seems this place has tea culture covered covered to a T(ea). Boom boom! Oh, man I crack myself up… In case you failed to pick up on it, am absolutely positively head over heals in Extreme Love with this stunning interior. The minimalist aesthetic creates an atmosphere reminiscent of a museum rather than a typical retail store, and the overall feel is pristine, warm and inviting. It’s super cool, yet it remains inclusive. That, my friends, is what really good design is all about. Ten yellowtrace stars from me!
