French street artist JR and Chinese expert camouflagioligist (is that a word?) Liu Bolin recently collaborated on this amazing temporary art project in New York City. JR assembled a large-scale mural of Bolin and pasted it on a large brick wall in Manhattan’s Nolita neighbourhood. After the paste-up was completed, Bolin took over to create one of his signature camouflages by giving his collaborator a chameleon treatment by painting him into the scene. On another note, I always get super excited when I see two incredible minds coming together to create something which is beyond their own abilities and sensibilities.
