1-OK CLUB Launches at the National Gallery of Victoria.

1-OK CLUB is a brand new representing, commissioning and distribution platform for designed objects in Australia headed by Dale Hardiman & Andre Hnatojko. With the intention of creating a new dialogue surrounding commercial design practice, the platform aims to enable and encourage design experimentation.

Commercial design scene is often centred on profitable viability, expansion and mass-production, in turn limiting the creativity in the process of production. 1-OK CLUB bypasses the need for the demand-and-supply relationship inherent in the commercial market, and represents pre-existing designed objects and specially commissioned works that are offered exclusively in limited numbers.

The platform officially launches today with a collection for the NGV Design Store at the National Gallery of Australia in Melbourne.
