Grand old dame – ‘Boulevard Leopold’, Antwerp, Belgium.

 

Anyone going to Belgium any time soon? No? Well, that’s too bad. Just consider this post a little feast for your eyes. And if you are, look no further for places to stay.

Boulevard Leopold is a super beautiful little B&B located in a 19th-century house in Antwerp’s Jewish quarter. Consisting of only three rooms and two apartments, it is a little jewel with rooms that are full of old-school richness and personality rarely found these days. They serve breakfast every morning with homemade bread, jams, cheeses and yogurt. Yum. And even if you are not staying with them as a guest, you can still go there to eat.

Now if this is all a bit too oldly-worldly for you, perhaps you would prefer to stay in their more contemporary sister property Sleep In The City. Located in the centre of Antwerp’s fashion district, Sleep In The City are also known as Shopping Apartments (that sounds a lot like trouble to me). There are only three apartments in the property, all sporting a white palette with splashes of gold or black, depending on the one you pick. See images below.

Hmm… hot vs hotter. Which one would you pick? I think I would have to toss a coin to decide.

    Que lindo! What a beautiful place to stay. I think such a lovely B&B makes me want to go to Belgium. My favourite is the older place, that couch is divine!
