Dorothée Boissier is an interior designer who spent three years as a project manager for Christian Liaigre before joining Philippe Starck’s agency. Patrick Gilles is an interior and industrial design, who also worked alongside Christian Liaigre. Their encounter ultimately lead to the founding of their own agency in January 2004. Apart from being business partners, Dorothée and Patrick are also partners in life.Gilles & Boissier work with three architects and four interior designers from their Paris office. They travel frequently as they are firm believers that experiencing other cultures is creatively enriching and eye-opening. Art plays an important role within their practice, and they often enlist other creatives to develop and execute installations for their projects. Their clients include the W Hotel in Shanghai, Hakkasanrestaurant in Abu Dhabi and Miami, Moncler stores in New York, Milan and Paris, as well as a myriad of private homes and yachts. One of their most recent projects, La Villa in Paris, was just nominated forWallpaper* Design Award 2011 in Best New Restaurant category.Ooh la la.Très chic. Mini Palais restaurant in Paris.
