Candy Black is a creative studio working in the fields of branding, creative direction, graphic design, interior design and styling. These images are of their stylish little studio in the UK.

Ok, so lets break it down. I spy:

  • Clean, crisp and always fashionable black & white palette – guest appearance by chocolate brown to mix things up a little.
  • White painted floors = definite winner every single time.
  • Nice mix of vintage furniture, design classics and good old IKEA storage.
  • Simple and punchy industrial lighting.
  • Graphics, wall decals and typography posters used as affordable artwork.
  • Great selection of quirky props and accessories which inject personality into the space.

This studio is a perfect example that good taste is it’s own reward and that good design doesn’t have to cost big bucks. Simple as that. By the way, the quote on the wall in the bottom image appeared in my “amusing & inspiring quotes” post right here. Cool, huh? Yes, I think so too.
