Excitement! I found another excellent little online resource called VT Wonen. Unfortunately it is 100% in Dutch, and since I don’t speak it – this post is going to be fairly light on in the commentary department. But we can still enjoy the pretty pictures, right?!

Judging by some of the pricing and looking at the photos, I’ve decided that VT Wonen is a magazine dedicated to affordable living – similar to the local Real Living Magazine. Am I right? Does anyone know for sure?

I’m sorry to include so many images in this post, but I honestly had trouble editing them any more. I always have such a hard time culling images because I’m a hard-core visual junkie. Guilty as charged. Besides I really love some of the clever ideas – like the bed coming out of a cupboard. So fun.

Publications like this go to show that you really don’t need a lot of money to make your home look amazing. All you need is a little bit of confidence, a touch of personality and a sprinkle of fun. Oh, and an ace designer of course!

I have a VT Wonen subscription and yes, it is a magazine dedicated to affordable living, a mixture of scandinavian and dutch design, dedicated to a personal lifestyle. And yes, I have a subscription because I’m most definitely in love with the visuals and the graphics and the creative people they show…

I have to say I am a fan of VTWonen – definitely similar to Real Living I’m guessing (from what I have seen of Real Living online). Oh, how I would love a subscription to Real Living but alas, it’s quite costly to get it here to the Netherlands. Hey – I’ll do you a swap! ;-) Shall have to pick up a copy when I am back home in June!

    Hi there,

I also love this magazine! Every time I go to Amsterdam I run for the magazine shop! I have tried to get a subscription to the UK but despite numerous emails to the magazine and research I have not been successful – does anyone have any ideas?

    Many thanks,

    Lucy
