Super Stylish Bed & Breakfast by Bea Mombaers // Knokke, Belgium.

In the small seaside town of Knokke in Belgium’s North-East, a traditional family home refurbished by Bae Mombaers offer travellers a beautiful place to stay. This intimate Bed & Breakfast is blessed with all the charming aspects of a Dutch farm house with a touch of English cottage. Here you will find high ceilings and open spaces, concrete floors, large windows and an enviable mixture of original furniture from the 50’s through to the 80’s. Signed by the likes of Verner Panton, Arne Jacobsen, Charles & Ray Eames amongst others, all the pieces were acquired by Mombaers on her extensive world travels. Sigh.

Bea Mombaers has a relentless passion for vintage and design, constantly looking for beautiful furniture and other objects for her design shop Items as well as her Bed & Breakfast. Hardly a day goes by without her making a new discovery. While she often isn’t able to purchase all her finds straight away, she goes on to showcase them on her blog. Some of what she shares can be found for sale in her online store.
